Anyone else done something so far outside your comfort zone that you can’t tell if you are more afraid or excited? Well, that’s what I experienced while getting vulnerable about vulnerability on the TEDx stage.
Well, this just got really REAL for me!
Today I got word from the TEDxBear Creek Park team that the video was now both approved and live on the TEDx website…
Why Vulnerability is a Human Thing by Dai Manuel at TEDxBearCreekPark
[embedded content]“Why Vulnerability is a Human Thing” started as an idea 7 months ago, and now, as of today is an idea out for the world to watch and discuss.
This journey has not been mine alone.
It’s a story of ‘we’. The community of #MENtorshipMonday continues to support men of all ages, cultures, and orientations.
Together we challenge the ideas of what it means to be ‘better humans’.
This is a big step into a conversation that engages people to reconsider the power of language and meaning when discussing terms like vulnerability.
I have a big feeling that together we’ll be shifting our collective understanding of vulnerability.
After all, vulnerability isn’t a woman thing, nor a man thing, it’s a HUMAN thing!
